Analysis with an Introduction to Proof

Topics: |
Logic and proof, Sets and functions, The Real numbers, Sequences, Limits and continuity. We will study these topics from a much more basic and rigorous point of view than in earlier courses. If time permits, we will look at the underpinnings of differentiation and integration. |

Grade: |
There will be a graded problem each week, a midterm and a final exam. The weekly problems will count 50%,the midterm and the final exam 50%. |
